My Home Town
My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.
But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had no work. They lived a hard life.
In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.
I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

My first time to the zoo
Last summer holiday，my parents took me to the zoo,it’s my first time to visit the zoo.
We first took a bus of the zoo to see tigers and lions.It’s my first time to see them this close.Through the glass of the bus,I see them eighter sleeping on the small hill or walking in the sun.That’s much different from the name so called “king of the monsters”.
After seeing the tigers and lions,we walked to visit the whole zoo.The show of domestic elephants attracted many people.But as the elephants smelled bad ,we just watched the show far away.The Yangtze alligators were the laziest,they all hided under the bridge to sleep. If I had not found them carefully,I would have not seen them.The monkeys were the most interesting.They posed to us when we took photos of them.And in order to get awards like bananas and oranges ,they even performed on the wodden frame like gymnasts.
It’s very funny to visit the zoo.I love the animals in the zoo.
我第一次去动物园
去年暑假，我的父母带我去了动物园。那是我第一次参观动物园。
我们首先坐着动物园的有车看了老虎和狮子。这是我第一次这么近距离地看它们。隔着车玻璃，我看到它们或者在小山上面小睡，或者在太阳下面漫步。这和所谓的“万兽之王”称号相差很大。
看完老虎和狮子后，我们就步行游览了整个动物园。驯化大象的表演吸引了很多人。但是由于大象臭味难闻，我们只是远远地看了表演。扬子鳄是最懒的，它们都躲在桥下面睡觉。如果不是我仔细寻找，我就不会看到它们了。猴子是最有意思的。当我们给它们照相时，它们都向我们摆pose。为了获得如香蕉，橘子之类的奖赏，它们甚至在木框架上像体操运动员一样表演起来。
游动物园真的很有趣。我爱动物园里的动物们。
